Ekaristi adalah sakramen utama dalam Gereja Katolik yang memperingati dan merayakan pengorbanan Yesus Kristus melalui perjamuan yang berisi roti dan anggur. Melalui Ekaristi, orang percaya diundang untuk bersatu dengan Kristus dalam kehidupan spiritual mereka, mengalami persekutuan dengan sesama, dan dibawa kepada hidup kekal.

Sianipar, Laurentina Br: “The Student’s Eucharistic Celebration as a Means for Faith Development of the Students of the Santo Vincent Catholic Junior High School, Surabaya”.
The Eucharistic Celebration is the main sacrament in the Catholic Church commemorates and celebrates the sufferings of Jesus Christ through a banquet that contains bread and wine. Through the Eucharistic Celebration, people believe they are invited to become one with Christ in their spiritual life, experience communion with fellow Christians, and be brought to eternal life.
The Student’s Eucharistic Celebration is the expression of gratitude for students as well as teachers in every teaching and learning process. The order of the Student’s Eucharistic Celebration is almost the same as the Eucharistic Celebration on Sunday and the chosen days.
This research aims to describe and explain the faith development of learners through the Student’s Eucharistic Celebration. To reach the said goal, this research applies the qualitative method which data collection is done through interviews with 10 respondents chosen using a Purposive Sampling Technique. The duration of this research was from September 9-29, 2024 at the Santo Vincent Catholic Junior High School, Surabaya.
Based on the results of this research there were 10 respondents stated that the Student’s Eucharistic Celebration had an impact on the faith development of the learners. This research concludes that the learners understand that the Eucharistic Celebration done by the school can develop the faith of the learners. The learners understood that the school does the Student’s Eucharistic Celebration. Through the Eucharistic Celebration, students can participate and take part as altar servers, readers, reading prayers of the faithful, etc which impact the learner’s faith development.

Ekaristi Pelajar merupakan sebuah ungkapan syukur peserta didik baik pelajar maupun pengajar dalam setiap usaha mereka selama berproses belajar mengajar. Dalam tataan Ekaristi pelajar hampir sama persis dengan Ekaristi yang biasanya dilakukan pada saat hari Minggu atau pada hari yang telah ditentukan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memaparkan terkait dengan Perkembangan iman peserta didik melalui Ekaristi pelajar. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara pada 10 responden yang dipilih mengunakan teknik pourposive sampling. Waktu penelitian ini berlangsung pada tanggan 9-23 september 2024 bertempatan di SMP Katolik Santo Vincentius Surabaya.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian 10 responden mengatakan bahwa Ekaristi Pelajar memiliki pengaruh bagi Perkembangan iman peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, peserta didik memahami bahwa melalui Ekaristi yang diselenggarakan sekolah dapat mengembangkan Iman peserta didik. Peserta didik memahami bahwa Ekaristi pelajar merupakan perayaan yang diselenggarakan sekolah. Melalui Ekaristi pelajar peserta didik dapat berpartisipasi untuk menjadi putra-putri altar, membaca sabda, membaca doa perohonan, dan lain sebagainya yang mampu mengembangkan iman peserta didik.
