Abstract
Christianus Freedus Yorifan: “Manfaat Program Asistensi Mengajar terhadap persiapan Calon Guru Agama Katolik di STKIP Widya Yuwana”
Program asistensi mengajar di satuan pendidikan bertujuan agar mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman dunia kerja atau realitas social dalam hubungannya dengan kajian teoritis di perkuliahan. STKIP Widya Yuwana telah melaksanakan Program Asistensi Mengajar ini pada tahun akademik 2020 hingga sampai sekarang, pada realitanya perlu didalami apakah ada manfaatnya Program Asistensi Mengajar bagi persiapan calon Guru Agama Katolik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manfaat apa yang mereka peroleh dalam program asistensi mengajar bagi persiapan calon guru agama katolik.
Dalam proses penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode penelitian ini dipakai agar memperoleh data yang mendalam dan juga mengandung sebuah makna, peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara secara individual dan terstruktur. Dalam melakukan penelitian ini peneliti mengambil 10 (sepuluh) mahasiswa STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun, untuk menjadi informan penelitian. Para informan tersebut dipilih berdasarkan kriteria berikut: 1) Mahasiswa masih aktif di STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun 2) Mahasiswa STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun yang sudah melakukan program asistensi mengajar pada tahun akademik 2022/2023 3) Lulus program asistensi mengajar dengan hasil nilai minimal A-.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, program asistensi mengajar yang ada di STKIP Widya Yuwana bermanfaat dalam menumbuhkan pengalaman mengajar, melatih kepekaan mahasiswa terhadap Fenomena yang ada di sekolah, dan membantu merefleksikan diri mahasiswa sebagai seorang calon Guru Agama Katolik. Mahasiswa juga mengetahui bahwa terdapat kompetensi dalam program asistensi mengajar yang sangat mendukung persiapan mahasiswa sebagai calon guru agama Katolik.

Christianus Freedus Yorifan: “The Benefit of the Teaching Assistance Program
to the Preparation of the Candidate of Catholic Religious Teachers at the STKIP
Widya Yuwana, Madiun“.
Teaching Assistance Programs in Academic Institutions are intended to
gain experiences in the reality of the world profession to the theory found in
learning and teaching in the classroom. STKIP Widya Yuwana has done the
Teaching Assistance Program in the School Academic Year 2020 till now, and in
reality, there is a need to evaluate whether’s benefits of the Teaching Assistance
Program in preparation for Catholic Religious Teachers. This research aims to
find out the benefit of the Teaching Assistance Program to the preparation of the
candidates of Catholic Religious Teachers.
The researcher applies qualitative methods in this research. This kind of
method is applied in order to get data which accurate and meaningful. The
researcher collected data through interviews individually and structured. In this
research, the researcher chose ten (10) informants, the students of the STKIP
Widya Yuwana, Madiun. All the informants were chosen based on some criteria:
1) Those who are active students of STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun, 2) Those
STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun students who are done with the Teaching
Assistance Program in the academic year 2022/2023, and 3) Those who passed
the Teaching Assistance Program with an outstanding score A-.
The results of the research show that the Teaching Assistance Program at
the STKIP Widya Yuwana, Madiun gives benefits to the development of teaching
experience, trains the sensitivity of the students to the phenomenon in school, and
it’s such a medium to help self-reflection as a candidate of a teacher. The student's
awareness of the Competence of Innovation Learning in the Teaching Assistance
Program supports the preparation of the students as candidates of Catholic
Religious Teachers.
