Abstract

Agatha Inisia: “Penerapan Metode Quantum Learning Terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik Kelas 5 di SDK Karitas II Surabaya”.
Pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna dapat menggugah keinginan belajar siswa agar termotivasi untuk terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Partisipasi dan keaktifan siswa memungkinkan mereka untuk memiliki pengalaman langsung, merasa terlibat, sehingga mudah untuk mengingat materi pembelajaran. Berdasarkan observasi peneliti selama praktik magang, proses kegiatan belajar mengajar pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik terpusat pada satu metode yakni metode ceramah. Siswa kurang memiliki konsentrasi belajar, kurang terlibat aktif, kejenuhan saat proses pembelajaran. Kondisi tersebut mempengaruhi ketercapain tujuan pembelajaran. Quantum Learning adalah sebuah metode pembelajaran yang menerapkan sistem TANDUR (Tanamkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasi, Ulangi, dan Rayakan). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh signifikan penerapan metode Quantum Learning terhadap keaktifan belajar pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik bagi siswa kelas 5 di SD Katolik Karitas II Surabaya.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Quasi Experimental Design dalam bentuk Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas 5 SDK Karitas II Surabaya. Sedangkan sampel penelitiannya adalah kelas 5 A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas 5 B sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan uji homogenitas. Validitas instrument diuji menggunakan uji validitas corrected item-total correlation dan Reliabilitas instrument diuji dengan rumus Cronbach’s Alpha. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dengan perhitungan statistic non parametrik Wilcoxon. Untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh metode Quantum Learning terhadap keaktifan belajar maka Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan uji t menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 26.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikansi metode Quantum Learning terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa dengan nilai signifikansi keaktifan belajar 0,000. Karena nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,00 < 0,05) maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikansi metode Quantum Learning terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa kelas 5 di SD Katolik Karitas II Surabaya.

Enjoyable and meaningful learning can stimulate students' desire to learn and motivate them to engage in the learning process. Student participation and activity allow them to have direct experiences, feel involved, and therefore easily remember the learning material. Based on the researcher's observations during the internship, the process of teaching and learning activities in the subject. Catholic Religious Education is centered on a single method, namely the lecture method. Students have low concentration, are less actively involved, and experience boredom during the learning process. This condition affects the achievement of learning objectives. Quantum Learning is a teaching method that applies the TANDUR system (T; Tanam/ Plant, A; Alamai/ Experience, N: Namai/ Name, D; Demonstrasi/ Demonstrate, Ulangi/ Repeat, and R: Rayakan/ Celebrate). The aims of this study is to determine the influence of the application of the Quantum Learning method on active learning in the subject of Catholic Religious Education for 5th-grade students at Karitas II Catholic Elementary School, Surabaya.
The method used in this research is the experimental method (Quasi- Experimental Design) in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study is the 5th–grade students at Karitas II Catholic Elementary School, Surabaya. The research sample consists of class 5 A as the experimental class and class 5 B as the control class. The sample was selected using a homogeneity test. The validity of the instrument was tested using the corrected item- total correlation validity test, and the reliability of the instrument was tested using Cronbach’s Alpha formula. Data collection techniques involved using a questionnaire with non-parametric statistical calculations using the Wilcoxon test. To determine the influence of the Quantum Learning method on active learning, data analysis was performed using the t-test, employing SPSS version 26.
The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of the Quantum Learning method on students' active learning, with a significance value of 0.000 for active learning. Since the significance value is less than 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05), Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Quantum Learning method has an effect on active learning in the subject of Catholic Religious Education for 5th-grade students at Karitas II Catholic Elementary School, Surabaya.
