Abstract
Dunia sedang mengalami masa pandemi secara global. Pandemi ini disebut pandemi Covid-19. Virus corona adalah virus yang menyebabkan infeksi saluran pernapasan pada manusia: mulai dari flu biasa, hingga penyakit yang serius seperti Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) dan sindrom pernapasan akut berat/ Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
Pemerintah di berbagai negara membuat kebijakan dalam proses penanganan guna mencegah penyebaran virus tersebut. Cara penularan virus dan kebijakan dalam penanganan pandemi Covid-19 ini menciptakan konsep baru menjalani hidup. Konsep baru tersebut membuat setiap orang lebih banyak beraktivitas di rumah bersama keluarga. Konsep tersebut adalah work from home, school from home dan pray at home.
Masa pandemi Covid-19 merupakan ujian bagi keluarga katolik dalam mewujudkan keluarga yang ideal terlepas dari berbagai variasi latar belakang kondisi setiap keluarga tersebut. Keluarga katolik ideal yang diinginkan oleh Gereja dan tentu saja oleh Allah sendiri adalah keluarga yang mampu mewujudkan diri sebagai Gereja Rumah Tangga (FC 21).

The world is experiencing global pandemic. This pandemic is called Covid-19 pandemic. Corona virus is a virus that causes respiratory tract infection in humans: flu, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS), and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
The government in all country makes a policy to handle prevent spread of Covid-19 pandemic. Mode of transmission Covid-19 pandemic and the government policy are create a new concept to live. The new concept is work from home, school from home and pray at home.
Covid-19 pandemic period is like a examination for catholic family to realize an ideal family even though variety of backgrounds every family. An Ideal catholic family desired by The Church and of course God is a family who can able to manifest itself as Ecclesia Domestica (FC 21).
