Abstract
Maria Rosari Letek, “Pengaruh media presentasi pembelajaran terhadap peningkatan daya ingat siswa/siswi kelas III pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) di SDK Karitas 2 Suarabaya”.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan daya ingat siswa/siswi kelas III pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik dengan menggunakan media presentasi pembelajaran berbasis canva. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi hasil pengamatan peneliti terkait kegiatan belajar mengajar di SDK Karitas 2 Surabaya secara khusus Kelas III, dimana pembelajaran hanya menggunakan media buku paket dengan metode ceramah. Hal ini mengakibatkan pembelajaran menjadi monoton pada guru dan siswa/siswi menjadi bosan dan mengantuk.
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain Kemmis dan McTanggart yang terdiri atas perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini yaitu siswa/siswi kelas III SDK Karitas 2 Surabaya yang berjumlah 35 siswa/siswi. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan angket skala daya ingat siswa/siswi dan lembar observasi penggunaan media oleh guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif untuk menganalisis skala daya ingat siswa/siswi, sedangkan data kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pengamatan dari lembar observasi.
Peningkatan daya ingat siswa/siswi kelas III dapat ditingkatkan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama melalui penggunaan media peresentasi pembelajaran berbasis canva dalam Siklus I dan Siklus II. Dengan hasil perolehan Pra Siklus (75,2%), Siklus I (88%) dan Siklus II (98%). Dari data presentasae Siklus I ke Siklus II terjadi peningkatan 10% dan hal ini sudah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan yang diterapkan yaitu 98% dengan kategori Sangat Baik.

The main purpose of this research is to enhance the memory of the third-grade students in the subject of Catholic Religious Education by utilizing media presentation based on Canva. This study is motivated by the researcher's observations regarding the teaching and learning activities at Karitas II Catholic Elementary School- Surabaya, specifically in the third- grade, where the instruction solely relies on textbook materials and lecture-based methods. These teaching methodologies had caused both teachers and students to become bored and drowsy.
This research employs a classroom action research methodology. The research design follows the Kemmis and McTanggart model, which consists of the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this classroom action research are 35 students in the third- grade at Karitas II Catholic Elementary School- Surabaya. Data for this research is collected using a student memory scale questionnaire and an observation sheet for the use of media by teachers. Data analysis techniques involve both quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data are used to analyze the students' memory scale, while qualitative data are utilized to describe the results of observations recorded on the observation sheet.
The improvement of memory for the third- grade students can be enhanced in Catholic Religious Education through the use of Canva-based media presentation in Cycle I and Cycle II. The results showed the following: Pre-Cycle (75.2%), Cycle I (88%), and Cycle II (98%). There was a 10% increase in presentation data from Cycle I to Cycle II, meeting the success criteria set at 98% with a "Very Good" category.
