Abstract
Anantasia: “Relevansi Konsep Keluarga Sebagai Gereja Rumah Tangga Bagi
Hidup Menggereja Di Stasi Santa Maria Ratu Rosari Sebauk”.
melaksanakan lima tugas gereja yaitu menguduskan (liturgia), mewartakan
Kristiani belum memahami tentang lima tugas Gereja. Meskipun demikian,

Anantasia: “ The Relevance Of The Family’s Concept As The Domestic Church
For Life At The Church District Of Saint Mart Queen Of The Rosary Sebauk”
Christian families are considered mini-churches because the family is the
smallest unit of the Church. Christian families are referred to as the domestica
church, which consists of baptized parents and children. Therefore, Christian
families play a vital role in carrying out the five tasks of the church, which are
sanctification (liturgy), proclamation (kerygma), fellowship (koinonia), service
(diakonia), and witness (martyria) in everyday life. However, the reality is that
there are families who do not fully understand the concept of the five tasks of the
church. Some Christian families are not actively engaged in carrying out these
five tasks. From the above issues, the research problem is formulated: What is the
understanding of Christian families as a domestic church? What is the meaning of
living in the church? To what extent do Christian families contribute as a
domestica church to the development of living in the church.
This research uses a qualitative method. The respondents of this study are
Christian families who have been married in the Catholic faith for a minimum of
ten (10) years and reside in the Church District of Saint Mary Queen of the
Rosary Sebauk. The total number of respondents in this study is ten (10) families.
Based on the research findings, overall, Christian families have not fully
understood the concept of the five tasks of the church. However, despite this,
Christian families have contributed to the implementation of the five tasks of the
church in their daily lives.
