Dyan Prasasti Matias Shenty: “Peran Orang Tua bagi Pendidikan Iman Anak dalam Keluarga Katolik di Era Digital”

Perkembangan teknologi informatika di era digital ini berkembang sangat pesat. Internet memiliki akses tak terbatas bagi seluruh pengguna dan membuat komunikasi semakin cepat dan mudah. Di era digital ini setiap orang bisa mengakses, memberi, menyebarkan, berkomunikasi dan melakukan berbagai aktivitas secara daring (online). Perkembangan teknologi ini berdampak pula bagi perkembangan iman anak dalam keluarga Katolik.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif disajikan dalam bentuk deskripsi-narasi. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman orang tua dalam peran mereka bagi pendidikan iman anak dalam keluarga Katolik di era digital. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Paroki Regina Pacis Magetan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua bagi pendidikan iman anak dalam keluarga Katolik di era digital adalah mengarahkan, mengawasi dan memberi dukungan kepada anak. Orang tua juga perlu menjadi teman dan model yang baik bagi anak.

Dyan Prasasti Matias Shenty: “The Role of Parents for Children’s Faith Education in Catholic Families in the Digital Age”

The Development of information technology in this digital era is growing very rapidly. The internet has unlimited access for all users and makes communication faster and easier. In this digital era, everyone can access, give, share, communicate and carry out various activities online. This technological development also has an impact on the development of children’s faith in Catholic families.
The research method used is qualitative research. Qualitative research is presented in the form of description-narration. This study aims to determine the extent of parents understanding of their role for children’s faith education in Catholic families in the digital era. This research was conducted at Regina Pacis Magetan Parish.
The results of the study show that the role of parents for children’s faith education in Catholic families in the digital era is to direct, supervise and provide support to children. Parents also need to be good friends and models for their children.
