Abstract
Pendidikan iman anak merupakan tanggung jawab utama dan pertama oleh para orang tua dalam keluarga Katolik. Namun pada masa Pandemi Covid-19 ini tentunya berpengaruh bagi perkembangan iman anak, karena terhentinya kegiatan pembinaan iman anak (PIA), dan kegiatan menggereja. Hal ini menjadi perhatian dan tantangan bagi para orang tua yang bertanggung jawab untuk membina iman anaknya. Berangkat dari permasalah tersebut, muncul rasa penasaran mengenai pelaksanaan tanggung jawab pendidikan iman anak oleh orang tua katolik pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Dengan ini penelitian dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan tanggung jawab pendidikan iman anak oleh orang tua katolik pada masa pandemi Covid-19.
Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara terstruktur yang dilaksanakan di Wilayah Nglinggi Paroki Roh Kudus Kebonarum. Informan pada penelitian ini berjumlah sepuluh (10) orang tua Katolik yang memiliki anak di usia 6-12 tahun, informan dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yang dimana menentukan sumber data sementara sesuai kriteria melalui perantara Romo Paroki dan Pembina PIA Wilayah Nglinggi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan iman anak di masa pandemi covid-19 ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengajarkan doa harian, mengikuti Ekaristi secara online, dan tentunya dengan pendidikan/pengajaran iman. Namun dalam melaksanaan pendidikan iman anak di masa pandemi covid-19 tersebut didapat berbagai tantangan bagi para orang tua yakni harus terus mengingatkan yang pastinya memakan kesabaran dan tantangan ketika anak kebanyakan bermain handphone. Dengan hal tersebut, terdapat berbagai upaya yang dilakukan orang tua seperti mengajarkan doa harian, mengikuti Ekaristi secara online, dan tentunya dengan pendidikan/ pengajaran iman. Dalam situasi pandemic ini orang tua juga turut mengusahakan pelaksanaan pendidikan iman anak yang relevan dengan situasi pandemi, dengan mengikuti misa secara online bersama dan juga mengarahkan kegiatan pembinaan iman secara online.

Children's faith education is the main and first responsibility of parents in Catholic families. However, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, it certainly affected the development of children's faith, because the children's faith development activities (PIA) and church activities stopped. This is a concern and a challenge for parents who are responsible for fostering their child's faith. Departing from these problems, a sense of curiosity arose regarding the implementation of the responsibility of faith education for children by Catholic parents during the Covid-19 pandemic. With this the research was carried out aiming to find out the implementation of the responsibility for children's faith education by Catholic parents during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Technique analysis research data using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using a structured interview technique which was carried out in the Nglinggi Region of the Holy Spirit Parish, Kebonarum. The informants in this study were ten (10) Catholic parents who had children aged 6-12 years, the informants were selected using the purposive sampling, which determines temporary data sources that meet the criteria through intermediaries for parish priests and PIA Supervisors for the Nglinggi Region.
The research results show thatimplementation Faith education for children during the Covid-19 pandemic can be done by teaching daily prayers, attending the Eucharist online, and of course with faith education/teaching. But deepcarry out faith education for children during the covid-19 pandemicgot various challenges for parents, namely having to keep reminding them, which certainly takes patience and challenges when children mostly play with cellphones. With this in mind, there are various efforts made by parents such as teaching daily prayers, attending the Eucharist online, and of course with faith education/teaching. In this pandemic situation, parents are also working on implementing faith education for their children that is relevant to the pandemic situation, by attending mass regularly online together and also directed faith building activities online.
