Abstract
Blended learning merupakan sebuah model pembelajaran yang mengkombinasikan antara pembelajaran tatap muka dengan pembelajaran berbasis web, dengan memanfaatkan media dan alat-alat yang dapat digunakan dalam lingkungan pembelajaran e-learning. Harapan dengan model pembelajaran blended learning adalah pendidik harus siap dan berani menghadapi kemajuan teknologi serta peserta didik menjadi aktif dan mandiri. Model pembelajaran blended learning juga diterapkan pada sekolah Katolik, termasuk SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare. Persoalan yang muncul adalah, apakah model pembelajaran blended learning yang dilaksanakan di sekolah Katolik tersebut sudah sesuai dengan yang diharapkan? Untuk mendapat jawaban tersebut perlu diadakan penelitian.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini (1) Mendeskripsikan yang dimaksud dengan model pembelajaran blended learning. (2) Menjelaskan implikasi model pembelajaran blended learning bagi pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Tempat penelitian di SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare. Teknik pemilihan responden dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling yaitu sebuah teknik pengambilan sampel dimana peneliti diberi kesempatan untuk memilih sendiri responden yang memiliki pengetahuan terkait dengan tema yang diteliti. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan Voice Note melalui aplikasi WhatsApp. Responden penelitian ini adalah para guru SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 orang.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, para guru SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare memiliki pemahaman yang jelas mengenai model pembelajaran blended learning. Hal tersebut terlihat data yang menunjukkan bahwa 100% para guru SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare mampu menjawab pengertian dari pembelajaran tatap muka, pembelajaran berbasis elektronik, model pembelajaran serta mengungkapkan secara jelas blended learning. Kemudian, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa blended learning memiliki hubungan dalam proses belajar mengajar di SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare. Hal tersebut terlihat dari data yang menunjukkan bahwa 100% dari jawaban para guru SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran blended learning mendukung bagi pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare. Selain itu, para guru SMP Katolik Yohanes Gabriel Pare juga mengungkapkan bahwa fungsi pembelajaran digital dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas yaitu sebagai komplemen atau pelengkap.

Blended learning is a learning model that combines face-to-face learning with web-based learning, by utilizing media and tools that can be used in an e-learning learning environment. The hope with the blended learning model is that educators must be ready and brave to face technological advances and students to be active and independent. The blended learning model is also applied to Catholic schools, including Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School. The problem that arises is, is the blended learning model implemented in the Catholic school as expected? To get this answer, research is needed.
The purpose of this study (1) is to describe what is meant by a blended learning model. (2) Explaining the implications of the blended learning model for the implementation of learning in Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School. This study uses a qualitative method. The research site is at Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Middle School. The respondent selection technique using purposive sampling is a sampling technique where researchers are allowed to choose their respondents who have knowledge related to the theme being studied. This research data collection technique uses Voice Note via the WhatsApp application. The respondents of this research were the teachers of Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School. The number of respondents in this study was 10 people.
The results showed that the John Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School teachers had a clear understanding of the blended learning model. This can be seen in the data showing that 100% of Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School teachers can answer the notion of face-to-face learning, electronic-based learning, learning models, and clearly express blended learning. Then, the results showed that blended learning had a relationship in the teaching and learning process at Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School. This can be seen from the data which shows that 100% of the answers from the John Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School teachers stated that the blended learning model supports the implementation of learning in Yohanes Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School. In addition, John Gabriel Pare Catholic Junior High School teachers also revealed that the function of digital learning in learning activities in the classroom is as a complement or complement.
