Abstract
ABSTRAK
Program magang adalah salah satu komponen integratif dari keseluruhan program pendidikan calon katekis dan calon guru agama katolik di STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun. Program magang memberikan mahasiswa pengalaman-pengalaman baru terkait dunia kerja yang dihadapi. Melalui program magang mahasiswa mampu memperoleh pengembangan kepribadian. Dua sifat pendukung dalam pengembangan kepribadaian mahasiswa yakni internship dan public service dimana mencerminkan proses pembelajaran sekaligus peluang kerja dalam realitas nyata di lapangan. Persoalan yang muncul adalah: Apakah yang dimaksud dengan program magang? Apakah yang dimaksud dengan pengembangan kepribadian? Apa relevansi program magang dengan pengembangan kepribadian menurut mahasiswa STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun?
Berdasarkan persoalan tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauh mana mahasiswa STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun dalam mengembangkan kepribadiannya melalui program magang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif, dengan responden mahasiwa STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun yang telah lulus program magang. Responden dipilih melalui pendekatan random sampling. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa mahasiswa memahami akan program magang dan mampu untuk mengembangkan kepribadiannya terlihat dari data yang didapat.

ABSTRACT
The internship program is one of the integrative components of the entire education program of catechist candidates and prospective Catholic religious teachers at STKIP Widya Yuwana Madiun. The internship program provides students with new experiences related to the world of work faced. Through the internship program students are able to obtain personality development. Two supporting traits in the development of student traits are internship and public service which reflects the learning process as well as job opportunities in real reality in the field. The problem that arises is: What is an internship program? What is personality development? What is the relevance of the internship program to personality development according to STKIP student Widya Yuwana Madiun?
Based on these issues, the purpose of this research is to see the extent of STKIP widya yuwana Madiun students in developing their personalities through internship programs. The research method used in the research was qualitative, with stkip student widya yuwana Madiun who had passed the internship program. Respondents were selected through a random sampling approach. The results obtained from this study state that students understand the internship program and are able to develop their personality as seen from the data obtained.
