Abstract

Guru memiliki tugas sebagai seorang pendidik dan juga sebagai pembimbing siswa dalam belajar. Maka, guru harus menyadari kedudukannya sebagai tenaga pendidik yang profesional dan memiliki kinerja tinggi. Kinerja guru akan optimal bila di dukung kepemimpinan yang baik dari kepala sekolah maupun sarana dan prasarana kerja yang baik dan memadai.
Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor penentu untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di sekolah. Sebagai seorang pemimpin, kepala sekolah hendaknya memiliki kemampuan untuk mempengaruhi semua orang terutama para guru agar dapat bekerja lebih baik demi terwujudnya tujuan pendidikan.
Penelitian ini mendalami tema tentang Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis sejauh mana kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan kinerja para guru di sekolah.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara online melalui aplikasi WhatsApp dan juga secara langsung atau tatap muka. Responden dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tujuh guru yaitu guru walikelas I-VI dan sie kesiswaan di SDK St. Yusuf Madiun.
Hasil penelitian dilapangan menunjukan bahwa para informan mampu menjelaskan dengan baik mengenai pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa kepimimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh besar bagi peningkatan kinerja guru. Kepala sekolah selalu memotivasi para guru dan memberikan teladan hidup yang baik serta melakukan berbagai kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kinerja para guru. Kepala sekolah senantiasa memberikan motivasi kepada para guru dengan berbagai cara untuk meningkatkan kinerja para guru demi tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Kepala sekolah memberikan teladan hidup yang sangat baik dan patut diteladani para guru. Kepala sekolah menyelenggarakan berbagai program kegiatan yang diikuti para guru guna meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan kerja para guru. Kepala sekolah selalu memberi ruang yang terbuka bagi guru untuk menyampaikan kesulitan yang dihadapi guru dalam proses pembelajaran dan berusaha memberikan solusi bagi permasalahan yang dihadapi guru..

ABSTRACT

The teacher has a duty as an educator and also as a guide for students in the learning process. Therefore, teachers must be aware of their position as professional educators and have high performance. Teacher performance will be optimal if it is supported by good leadership from the principal as well as good and adequate work facilities and infrastructures.
Principal leadership is one of the determining factors to improve teacher performance in the school. As a leader, the principal should have an ability to influence everyone, especially the teachers, so that they can work better for the realization of educational goals.
This study explores the theme of the Influence of Principal Leadership on Teacher Performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which the principal's leadership influences on the performance development of teachers in schools.
This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection was carried out by online interview techniques through the WhatsApp application and also directly or face to face interview. Respondents in this study consisted of seven teachers, namely homeroom teachers I-VI and student affair section at SDK St. Yusuf Madiun.
The results of the research in the field showed that the informant were able to explain well about the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance. The results of the study also revealed that the principal's leadership has a major influence on improving teacher performance. The principal always motivation the teachers and provides a good life example and carries out various activities to improve the performance of the teachers. The principal always motivates teachers in various ways to improve the performance of teachers in order to achieve learning objectives. The principal provides a very good life example and should be followed by teachers. The principal organizes various program activities that were participated in by the teachers in order to improve the knowledge and work skills of the teachers. Principals always provide an open space for teachers to convey the difficulties faced by teachers in the learning process and try to provide solutions to problems faced by teachers.
