Abstract

Manusia memiliki makna hidup. Meditasi adalah salah satu cara mencari makna hidup. Makna hidup yang ditemukan dalam meditasi ikut menentukan manusia dalam menjalani hidup di dunia yang menggiurkan dan semu. Seiring perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi manusia kehilangan minat terhadap meditasi sehingga tidak jarang terjadi desolasi. Dalam iman Kristiani, meditasi adalah cara untuk memperoleh pemahaman kehendak Allah, bersatu dengan-Nya sebagai yang ber-Pribadi dalam diri Kristus. Berdasarkan pemahaman tersebut, meditasi sangat membantu bagi terbentuknya katekis yang mumpuni sebagai pendidik iman. Hidup meditatif yang baik menjadi salah satu tolak ukur dalam panggilan katekis. Berdasarkan pemahaman tersebut, pertanyaan yang patut dilontarkan adalah bagaimana dampak pembinaan meditasi bagi panggilan katekis mahasiswa. Maka tujuan peneliti adalah mendalami bagaimana dampak kegiatan meditasi pagi di STKIP Widya Yuwana bagi panggilan katekis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Responden penelitian berjumlah sembilan puluh lima (95) mahasiswa program ilmu pendidikan teologi STKIP Widya Yuwana semester 2 dan 4 tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket. Masalah yang dikaji adalah dampak pembinaan meditasi pagi mahasiswa STKIP Widya Yuwana terhadap panggilan Katekis. Peneliti menganalisis dan menginterpretasi data dengan teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meditasi memiliki dampak terhadap panggilan katekis. Adapun dampak meditasi antara lain terbentuknya pribadi katekis, mempertajam kepekaan, membentuk sikap yang selalu siap sedia, dan menumbuhkan gairah, fokus dalam panggilan sebagai katekis.

Human has meaning of life. Meditation is one of method to search for meaning of life. Meaning of life who have been founded in the meditation to determine human for in undergoes life the world that is arouse interest and pseudo. Together with development of science and technology, human lose interesting to do meditation, as often suffer desolate. In the Christian’s faith, meditation is a method to obtain comprehension whose God’s desire, and be allied with Him as a person was incarnation in Christ himself. Based on it
comprehensions, meditation very helpful to formulate of catechist able as educator in faith. Meditative life good old become one of parameter in catechism’s vocation. The questions based on it comprehension is how the impact
establishment of meditation for vocation’s college students. Consequently purpose of this aim researcher is to explore how the impact of morning coaching of meditation at STKIP Widya Yuwana for vocation of catechist college student. This research used quantitative methods. Sum of respondents is ninety five (95) college students of the theological education program at STKIP Widya Yuwana 2’rd and 4’th semester students academic years 2019/2020. Data have
been collect used questionnaires. The problem was to knowledge is impact coaching of meditation college students at STKIP Widya Yuwana towards of catechist’s vocation. Researcher was to analyzed and interpretation data with
descriptive technique. The results showed that meditation having an impact in catechist’s vocation. Some impact of meditation were among is to form personality of catechist, hone sensitivity, to became all ready attitude, and to growth desire to focus in catechist’s vocation.
