Dalam kehidupan menggereja banyak sekali kegiatan yang melibatkan orang muda di dalamnya, supaya mereka terus mengalami perkembangan dan pembaruan dalam kehidupan sosial maupun kehidupan rohani mereka. Kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan persekutuan doa kurang diminati dan sedikit orang muda yang terlibat di dalamnya seperti dalam kegiatan Legio Maria. Di tengah krisisnya minat anak muda dalam mengikuti Legio Maria ternyata masih ada legioner muda yang mau bergabung dalam Legio Maria di Paroki Santa Maria Annuntiata. Bertitik tolak dari latar belakang di atas, maka dirumuskan berbagai permasalahan berikut: Apakah Spiritualitas Legio Maria? Bagaimana para Legioner Muda di Paroki Santa Maria Annuntiata Sidoarjo menghidupi spiritualitas Legio Maria? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan spiritualitas Legio Maria dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana para Legioner Muda di Paroki Santa Maria Annuntiata menghidupi spiritualitas Legio Maria. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara langsung di lapangan kepada 6 orang responden yang dipilih secara Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Paroki Santa Maria Annuntiata Sidoarjo pada tanggal 14 – 24 Maret 2025. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) legioner muda di Paroki Santa Maria Annuntiata Sidoarjo memahami spiritualitas Legio Maria. Legioner muda memahami bahwa spiritualitas Legio Maria bersumber dari pribadi Maria. Sikap hidup yang diteladankan Maria dipahami oleh para legioner sebagai semangat yang dihidupi dalam Legio Maria; devosi kepada Bunda Maria, Meneladan Maria sebagai hamba Tuhan, Ketaatan Maria kepada Allah, serta Kerendahan Hati. 2) Legioner mewujudkan spiritualitas Maria dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai bentuk upaya menghidupi Spiritualitas Legio Maria. Legioner melakukan upaya dalam tindakan nyata dengan: berusaha menjadikan Maria sebagai jalan menunju Yesus, tekun dan sabar dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas dan kegiatan, menunjukkan sikap rela berkorban waktu untuk menghadiri rapat, kepedulian terhadap sesama untuk dapat saling menolong, menumbuhkan rasa simpati dan empati. In church life, there are many activities that involve young people in it, so that they continue to experience development and renewal in their social life and spiritual life. Activities related to the fellowship of prayer are less popular and few young people are involved in them, such as the Legion of Mary. In the midst of the crisis of young people's interest in joining the Legion of Mary, there are still young legionaries who want to join the Legion of Mary in Santa Maria Annuntiata Parish. Starting from the above background, the following problems were formulated: What is the Spirituality of the Legion of Mary? How do the young Legionaries in Santa Maria Annuntiata Parish Sidoarjo live the spirituality of the Legion of Mary? This research aims to explain the spirituality of the Legion of Mary and describe how the Young Legionaries in Santa Maria Annuntiata Parish live the spirituality of the Legion of Mary. To achieve these objectives, the researcher used a qualitative method, by collecting data through direct interviews in the field to 6 respondents selected by purposive sampling. This research was conducted in Santa Maria Annuntiata Parish Sidoarjo on March 14-24, 2025. The research concluded that: 1) Young legionaries in Santa Maria Annuntiata Parish Sidoarjo understand the spirituality of the Legion of Mary. Young legionaries understand that the spirituality of the Legion of Mary comes from the person of Mary. The attitude of life exemplified by Mary is understood by the legionaries as the spirit that is lived in the Legion of Mary. Devotion to Our Lady, Mary's example as a servant of God, Mary's obedience to God, and Humility. 2) Legionaries embody the spirituality of Mary in their daily lives as a form of effort to live the Spirituality of the Legion of Mary. Legionaries make efforts in concrete actions by: trying to make Mary the way to Jesus, being diligent and patient in carrying out tasks and activities, showing a willing attitude to sacrifice time to attend meetings, caring for others to be able to help each other, fostering a sense of sympathy and empathy.
