Pendidikan Agama Katolik Kelas X SMK Bonaventura 1 Kota Madiun dengan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah?
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X 
SMK St. Bonaventura 1 Kota Madiun pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik. Kondisi 
tersebut terlihat dari siswa yang cenderung pasif dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran karena 
penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional yang lebih berpusat pada guru. Oleh karena itu, 
diperlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses 
pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem 
Based Learning (PBL) serta peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi ?Yesus Putra 
Allah dan Juru Selamat?. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) 
yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan 
tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 22 siswa kelas X SMK St. Bonaventura 
1 Kota Madiun. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas belajar siswa 
secara individual dan kelompok, observasi kinerja guru, serta tes objektif untuk mengukur hasil 
belajar siswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan menghitung persentase 
aktivitas, hasil observasi kinerja guru, nilai rata-rata hasil tes, dan ketuntasan belajar siswa. Hasil 
penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan 
Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Aktivitas belajar siswa secara individual 
meningkat dari 72,05% pada Siklus I menjadi 94,77% pada Siklus II. Aktivitas belajar siswa dalam 
kelompok meningkat dari 62,14% menjadi 98,56%. Hasil tes objektif siswa meningkat dari rata?rata 71,36 pada Siklus I menjadi 89,54 pada Siklus II, sedangkan hasil observasi kinerja guru 
meningkat dari 70% menjadi 88,3%. Dengan demikian, penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem 
Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran 
Pendidikan Agama Katolik, khususnya pada materi ?Yesus Putra Allah dan Juru Selamat?

Problem Based Learning Model"
This study was motivated by the low level of learning activity and outcomes among Grade 
X students at SMK St. Bonaventura 1 Madiun in the subject of Catholic Religious Education. This 
condition was evident in students' tendency toward passivity during the learning process, resulting 
from the use of conventional, teacher-centered instructional models. A learning model capable of 
actively engaging students in the learning process was therefore needed. This study aimed to 
examine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the resulting 
improvement in student learning activity and outcomes on the topic "Jesus, Son of God and Savior." 
This study employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in two cycles. Each 
cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The 
research subjects were 22 Grade X students at SMK St. Bonaventura 1 Madiun. Data collection 
techniques included observation of student learning activity both individually and in groups, 
observation of teacher performance, and objective tests to measure student learning outcomes. The 
data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by calculating the percentage of activity, the results of 
teacher performance observations, the mean test scores, and students' learning mastery. The results 
showed an improvement in student learning activity and outcomes following the implementation of 
the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Individual student learning activity increased from 
72.05% in Cycle I to 94.77% in Cycle II. Group learning activity increased from 62.14% to 98.56%. 
Students' objective test results improved from an average of 71.36 in Cycle I to 89.54 in Cycle II, 
while teacher performance observation results increased from 70% to 88.3%. Thus, the 
implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning activity 
and outcomes in Catholic Religious Education, particularly on the topic "Jesus, Son of God and 
Savior."
