Namun, faktanya kelompok rentan seperti KLMTD kerap diabaikan. Synodality is rooted in the communion of the People of God, as emphasized by the Second Vatican Council. It plays a crucial role in the decision-making process within neighborhood communities by promoting a journey of walking together through prayer, discernment, and mutual listening, especially to the voices of KLMTD, in seeking God's will. In reality, however, vulnerable groups such as KLMTD are often overlooked. This research employed a qualitative approach using semi-structured, in-depth interviews. The study was conducted in five neighborhood communities under Saint Cornelius Parish, Madiun. One neighborhood community was selected from each of the parish's five pastoral regions to ensure adequate representation. Research participants were selected through purposive sampling, consisting of ten informants: five representatives from the KLMTD groups and five neighborhood community leaders. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation by systematically comparing the responses of KLMTD participants with those of the neighborhood community leaders. The findings reveal that the spirit of synodality has been reflected in the decision making process, although its implementation remains at a developmental stage and is not yet evenly practiced across all neighborhood communities. The synodal dimensions identified include prayer, mutual listening, discernment, and the involvement of KLMTD in decision-making. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including the use of majority voting, which is inconsistent with the spirit of synodality; reliance on WhatsApp communication, which limits accessibility for some KLMTD members; the dominance of community leaders' voices; the busy schedules of leaders, resulting in fewer pastoral visits and community meetings; physical limitations, educational background, and social position that hinder KLMTD participation; as well as subjective factors among KLMTD members, such as feelings of inferiority, fear of expressing opinions, and concerns about becoming a burden to others. Keywords: KLMTD involvement, synodal communion, decision-making process. UR - https://eprints.widyayuwana.ac.id/id/eprint/1099/ AV - public ID - widyayuwana1099 ER -
