Keluarga merupakan komunitas pertama dan utama dalam pembentukan iman anak, dengan orang tua berperan sebagai pendidik utama. Dalam perspektif Kristiani, keluarga disebut sebagai “Gereja Domestik,” tempat anak belajar mengenal kasih Allah, nilai-nilai Kristiani, dan praktik hidup menggereja. Keterlibatan anak dalam kehidupan Gereja sangat dipengaruhi oleh teladan, pendampingan, dan bimbingan orang tua sejak dini. Tanggung jawab orang tua tidak hanya terbatas pada pemenuhan kebutuhan jasmani dan pendidikan formal, tetapi juga mencakup pembinaan iman melalui doa bersama, partisipasi liturgi, dan keterlibatan aktif dalam kegiatan Gereja. Keterlibatan hidup menggereja anak meliputi partisipasi dalam Liturgia, Koinonia, Martyria, Diakonia, dan Kerygma, sesuai panca tugas Gereja. Penelitian di Paroki Regina Pacis Magetan menunjukkan rendahnya keterlibatan anak, dengan banyak yang hanya menghadiri Ekaristi tanpa pemahaman mendalam dan sedikit ikut kegiatan seperti Misdinar, Bina Iman, atau koor. Faktor penyebab antara lain kesibukan orang tua, kurangnya teladan iman, pengaruh media digital, dan minimnya pendampingan rohani. Hasil wawancara menegaskan bahwa orang tua dipahami sebagai pendamping, panutan, teman berbagi, dan pengayom, sedangkan anak dipandang sebagai penerus keluarga, sahabat, penyemangat hidup, dan titipan Tuhan. Upaya orang tua untuk menumbuhkan keterlibatan anak meliputi motivasi, pendampingan, teladan aktif, dan pengaturan kegiatan meski menghadapi kendala. Kesimpulannya, orang tua memiliki peran strategis dalam menumbuhkan keterlibatan hidup menggereja anak, yang mendukung perkembangan iman, karakter, dan kehidupan spiritual secara utuh. From a Christian perspective, the family is referred to as the “Domestic Church,” where children learn about God's love, Christian values, and the practice of church life. Children's involvement in church life is greatly influenced by the example, guidance, and direction of their parents from an early age. The responsibility of parents is not only limited to fulfilling physical needs and formal education, but also includes nurturing faith through prayer together, liturgical participation, and active involvement in Church activities. Children's involvement in church life includes participation in Liturgy, Koinonia, Martyria, Diakonia, and Kerygma, in accordance with the five tasks of the Church. Research at the Regina Pacis Magetan Parish shows low involvement of children, with many only attending the Eucharist without deep understanding and few participating in activities such as altar servers, faith formation, or choir. Contributing factors include parents' busy schedules, lack of faith role models, the influence of digital media, and minimal spiritual guidance. The interview results confirmed that parents are understood as companions, role models, friends to share with, and protectors, while children are seen as the successors of the family, friends, encouragers of life, and God's gifts. Parents' efforts to foster children's involvement include motivation, guidance, active role modeling, and organizing activities despite obstacles. In conclusion, parents have a strategic role in fostering their children's involvement in church life, which supports the development of their faith, character, and spiritual life as a whole.
