Abstract

ABSTRAK

Romaldis Andini Noverian Kristanti: “Kegiatan Bina Iman Anak Katolik (BIAK) Dengan Menggunakan Media Permainan Mystery Box Pada Materi Kepedulian Sosial”.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan media permainan Mystery Box sebagai media yang menarik dan kreatif bagi anak-anak dalam kegiatan bina iman anak Katolik. 2) Mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk media permainan Mystery Box sebagai media untuk meningkatkan kepedulian sosial bagi anak-anak dalam kegiatan bina iman anak Katolik.
Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengacu pada model ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementasi, Evaluation) yang meliputi tahap analisis, mendesain produk, membuat produk, penerapan produk, dan evaluasi. Subjek yang digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian adalah bina iman anak Katolik di Paroki St. Hilarius Klepu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi skor yang awalnya kualitatif menjadi data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan aturan skala likert 4 poin. Validasi ahli materi, ahli media, uji coba terbatas, dan uji coba lapangan dilakukan untuk memastikan kevalidan dan kelayakan permainan.
Penelitian dan Pengembangan Mystery Box dilakukan melalui lima Langkah, yakni analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian uji kelayakan media permainan Mystery Box berdasarkan penelitian: 1) Ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,73 yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”, 2) Ahli media diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,87 yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”, 3) Uji coba terbatas diperoleh skor 3,86 yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”, 4) Uji coba lapangan diperoleh skor 3,76 yang termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Dengan demikian media permainan Mystery Box dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan bina iman anak Katolik.

Romaldis Andini Noverian Kristanti: “The Catholic Children’s Faith Formation With the Use of the Mystery Box Game Media on material of Sosial Responsibility”.
This research aims to: 1) Descibe the procedure development of Mystery Box Game media as an interesting and creative tool for the catholic children’s faith formation. 2) Desribe the feasibility of Mystery Box game media as a tool to increase social awareness among children in the Catholic children’s faith formation.
This research is included in research and development which based on ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model which include stages: analyse, product design, product making, product implementation, and evaluation. Subject used as research sample is the Catholic children’s faith formation at St. Hilarius Parish – Klepu. Data collection was done through observation, interview, and questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The data analysis was carried out by couverting score that were originally qualitative into quantitavie data using a 4-point Likert scale. Expert validation of subjects, media expert, limited trial, field trial was conducted in order to ensure the validity and feasibility of the game.
Research and development of the Mystery Box was done through five steps namely: analyse, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the feasibility study of the Mystery Box game media based on research: 1) The average score obtained by the subject matter expert is 3,73 which included in “highly feasible” category, 2) The average score obtained from thr media expert is 3,87 which included in “highly feasible” category, 3) The average obtained by limited trial is 3,86 which included in “highly feasible” category, 4) The average score obtained by field trial is 3,76 which include “highly feasible” category. Therefore the Mystery Box game media is declared suitable to be used in all activities of the Catholic children’s faith formation.
