Abstract
ABSTRAK
Timbo, Juliana: Relevansi Keutamaan Kelembutan Hati Menurut Santo Vinsensius A Paulo Bagi Katekis dalam Mewartakan Injil
Yesus menyebut dirinya sebagai pribadi yang lemah lembut: “Belajarlah pada-Ku karena Aku lemah lembut” (Matius 11: 29). Lewat sabda itu Yesus juga memanggil semua orang untuk belajar menjadi lemah lembut. Bahkan Yesus menyebut orang yang lemah lembut sebagai orang yang berbahagia: “Berbahagialah orang yang lemah lembut, karena mereka akan memiliki bumi” (Matius 5:5). Dewasa ini sering terjadi kekerasan dan tindakan-tindakan yang melawan kelembutan hati. Berbagai bentuk tindakan kekerasan yang terjadi kekerasan fisik, emosional, dan verbal. Di tengah berbagai tantangan dan kesulitan dalam karya pewartaan yang dapat menyurutkan motivsi dan semangat katekis. Tuhan Yesus mengundang para katekis untuk belajar dari pada-Nya sehingga para katekis tetap lemah lembut dalam mewartakan Injil. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah tersebut dirumuskan rumusan masalah sebagai berikut: 1) Apa makna keutamaan kelembutan hati menurut Santo Vinsensius A Paulo? 2) Apakah relevansi keutamaan kelembutan hati menurut Santo Vinsensius A Paulo bagi katekis dalam mewartakan Injil?
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui makna keutamaan kelembutan hati menurut Santo Vinsensius A Paulo, 2) Memahami bagaimana relevansi keutamaan kelembutan hati menurut Santo Vinsensius A Paulo bagi katekis dalam mewartakan Injil. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode studi pustaka. Metode studi pustaka adalah sebuah metode yang menggunakan berbagai jenis data yang relevan seperti buku, dokumen, artikel, tulisan ilmiah, kitab suci, internet, dan literatur. Hal ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah konsep atau teori yang berguna dalam sebuah penelitian
Penelitian ini menyimpulkan: 1) Keutamaan kelembutan hati menurut Santo Vinsensius A Paulo adalah kemampuan untuk mengasihi dengan penuh kesabaran, kerendahan hati, dan tanpa kekerasan 2) Keutamaan kelembutan hati menurut Santo Vincentius a Paulo sangat penting bagi katekis dalam mewartakan Injil. Kelembutan bukan hanya sikap, tetapi cara hidup yang mencerminkan kasih Kristus. Seorang katekis tidak hanya mengajar, tetapi menyampaikan kebenaran iman dengan kasih, kesabaran, dan kerendahan hati. Kelembutan hati memungkinkan katekis menjangkau umat dengan empati, menghindari sikap menghakimi, serta menciptakan suasana yang menyentuh hati dan membuka jalan bagi pertobatan.

ABSTRACT
Timbo, Juliana: The Relevance of Gentleness According to Saint Vincent de Paul for Catechists in Proclaiming the Gospel
Jesus referred to himself as a gentle person: “Learn from me, for I am gentle” (Matthew 11:29). Through these words, Jesus also calls everyone to learn to be gentle. In fact, Jesus calls the gentle blessed: “Blessed are the gentle, for they will inherit the earth” (Matthew 5:5). Today, violence and acts that go against gentleness are common. Various forms of violence occur, including physical, emotional, and verbal violence. Amidst the various challenges and difficulties in the work of evangelization that can dampen the motivation and enthusiasm of catechists, Jesus invites catechists to learn from Him so that they may remain gentle in proclaiming the Gospel. Based on this background, the following research questions are formulated: 1) What is the meaning of gentleness according to Saint Vincent de Paul? 2) What is the relevance of gentleness according to Saint Vincent de Paul for catechists in proclaiming the Gospel?
This study aims to: 1) Understand the meaning of gentleness according to Saint Vincent de Paul, 2) To understand the relevance of the virtue of gentleness according to Saint Vincent de Paul for catechists in proclaiming the Gospel. To achieve these objectives, the researcher used the literature review method. The literature review method is a method that uses various types of relevant data such as books, documents, articles, scientific papers, sacred texts, the internet, and literature. This aims to build a concept or theory that is useful in research.
This study concludes: 1) The virtue of gentleness according to Saint Vincent de Paul is the ability to love with patience, humility, and without violence. 2) The virtue of gentleness according to Saint Vincent de Paul is very important for catechists in proclaiming the Gospel. Gentleness is not just an attitude, but a way of life that reflects the love of Christ. A catechist does not merely teach but conveys the truth of the faith with love, patience, and humility. Gentleness of heart enables catechists to reach out to the faithful with empathy, avoid judgmental attitudes, and create an atmosphere that touches the heart and opens the way to conversion. Thus, the proclamation of the Gospel becomes more human, touches the heart, and reflects the God who is full of mercy.
