Romano Bambang Sadewa: “Pemahaman Asisten Imam Tentang Peran Dan Tanggung Jawab Dalam Hidup Menggereja Ditinjau Dari Pedoman Asisten Imam Di Gereja Santo Petrus Paulus Wlingi”
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peran Asisten Imam dalam membantu pelayanan liturgi Gereja, khususnya di tengah keterbatasan jumlah imam dalam pelayanan umat. Keberadaan Asisten Imam diharapkan mampu mendukung kelancaran pelayanan liturgi sesuai dengan Pedoman Asisten Imam Keuskupan Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman Asisten Imam mengenai peran dan tanggung jawabnya serta bagaimana pelaksanaan tugas tersebut di Paroki Santo Petrus Paulus Wlingi.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah para Asisten Imam yang masih aktif melayani di Paroki Santo Petrus Paulus Wlingi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai fenomena yang diteliti.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para Asisten Imam di Paroki Santo Petrus Paulus Wlingi telah memahami peran dan tanggung jawab mereka berdasarkan Pedoman Asisten Imam Keuskupan Surabaya, terutama dalam aspek pelayanan liturgi. Pemahaman tersebut terlihat dalam pelaksanaan tugas seperti membantu membagikan komuni, memimpin ibadat sabda, dan memimpin ibadat kematian. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan, seperti keterbatasan waktu, faktor usia, dan kurangnya regenerasi Asisten Imam yang lebih muda. Secara umum, terdapat keterkaitan antara pemahaman teoritis para Asisten Imam dengan implementasi pelayanan yang dijalankan dalam kehidupan menggereja di paroki.

Romano Bambang Sadewa: "Assistant Priests' Understanding of Their Roles and Responsibilities in Church Life A Study Based on the Guidelines for Assisting Ministers at St. Peter and St. Paul Church, Wlingi "
This study is motivated by the important role of Assistant Priests in supporting the Church’s liturgical services, particularly amid the limited number of priests available for pastoral ministry. The presence of Assistant Priests is expected to support the effectiveness and continuity of liturgical services in accordance with the Guidelines for Assistant Priests of the Diocese of Surabaya. Therefore, this study aims to examine the extent of Assistant Ministers’ understanding of their roles and responsibilities, as well as the implementation of these duties at Saint Petrus and Paulus Church Wlingi.
This study employed a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were Assistant Priests who actively served at Saint Petrus and Paulus Church Wlingi. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Furthermore, the collected data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon under investigation.
The findings indicated that the Assistant Priests at Saint Petrus and Paulus Church Wlingi had understood their roles and responsibilities based on the Guidelines for Assistant Priests of the Diocese of Surabaya, particularly in the aspect of liturgical service. This understanding was reflected in the implementation of duties such as assisting in the distribution of Holy Communion, leading liturgies of the Word, and conducting funeral services. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified in the implementation of their ministry, including time constraints, age-related factors, and the lack of younger Assistant Priests as successors. Overall, the study demonstrated a correlation between the theoretical understanding of the Assistant Priests and the practical implementation of their ministry within the parish community.
