ABSTRAK
Oktavianti Kevin: Relevansi keutamaan Zelus Animarum menurut Vinsensius a Paulo bagi katekis dalam mewartakan Injil
Gereja melanjutkan karya Kristus dalam dua rupa yaitu karya-karya rohani dan juga karya-karya nyata menyelamatkan jiwa-jiwa melalui berbagai Cara antara lain: membangun rumah sakit, membangun panti asuhan bagi orang-orang yang berkebutuhan khusus maupun tidak, bagi orang-orang yang tidak mempunyai tempat tinggal dan tersingkirkan, bagi orang-orang lanjut Usia, membangun tempat-tempat rehabilisasi bagi penguna narkoba, mengunjungi orang sakit dan lain-lain. Karya penyelamatan jiwa yang dimulai oleh Kristus dilanjutkan oleh para rasul, sebagai Imam Vinsensius A Paulo melanjutkan karya Yesus untuk menyelamatkan jiwa-jiwa, bahkan menjadikan zelus animarum sebagai salah satu dari lima keutamaan yang harus dihidupi dan hingga kini dilaksanakan juga oleh para katekis dalam karya pewartaannya. Dari uraian di atas kemudian muncul pertanyaan: Apa isi dari keutamaan zelus animarum menurut Vinsensius a Paulo? Apa relevansi keutamaan zelus animarum menurut Vinsensius a Paulo?
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan: 1) Mengetahui isi keutamaan zelus animarum menurut Vinsensius A Paulo, 2) Memahami relevansi keutaamaan zelus animarum menurut Vinsensius A Paulo.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan.
Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa zelus animarum berarti mengasihi dan melayani sesama secara nyata, terutama orang miskin dan menderita, sebagai wujud kasih Kristus. Pelayanan ini tidak hanya mencakup kebutuhan rohani, tetapi juga kebutuhan jasmani, sehingga membawa keselamatan secara menyeluruh bagi manusia. Keutamaan zelus animarum menurut Vinsensius a Paulo sangat relevan bagi katekis karena mengajarkan bahwa pewartaan Injil tidak hanya sebatas pengajaran doktrin, tetapi juga harus diwujudkan dalam tindakan kasih dan pelayanan nyata kepada sesama. Katekis dipanggil untuk mengikuti teladan Vinsensius dengan mengasihi dan melayani umat, terutama yang miskin dan tersingkirkan, sehingga pewartaan iman menjadi hidup dan efektif dalam membawa orang kepada keselamatan sejati, baik secara rohani maupun jasmani.

Oktavianti Kevin: The Relevanceof the virtue of salvation of souls according to Vincent a Paulo for catechitst in proclaiming the Gospel
Church continue the mission of Christ in two farms namely: in spiritual works and also in real is works in daring in varions ways including: building the hospital, building orphanage for the people with special needs whether or not, for those who don’t have house and marginalized, for the elderly, building rehabilitation centers for drug users, visiting the sickness, Ete. The mission of saving souls had started by Jesus Christ and had continued by the aposttel, as a priest Vincent a Paulo had continued the mission of Jesus for saving souls, wan making the salvation of souls one of the five virtues to be lived on and until now it’s still being done by the cathists in the work of evangelization. From the explanation abore, the questions arise: what is the essence of virtue of the salvation of souls acoording to Vincent a Paulo? What is the relevance of the virtue of the salvation of the souls according Vincent a Paulo?
The research aimstosepergat: 1) Knorcing the contcnt content of virtue of the salvation of the souls according to Vincent a Paulo, 2) Understanting the relevance of the virtue of the salvation of the souls according to Vincent a Paulo.
This research employs the library study method.
This research condkudes that the salvation of the souls mean to love and to serve fello beings in a tangible way, mostly to those who are living in poverty and suffering as a manifestation of the christ’s love. This ministry does not only address spiritual needs but also physical meeds, so as to bring complete salvation to humanity.
The virtue of the salvation of the souls according to Vincent a Paulo is highty relevant to catechist because it teahes that the prodacation of the gospel not only teacing of doctrin, but it must be realized in acts of love and real services to fellow beings. Catechist is called to follow the example of Vincent a Paulo through loving and serving the faithful, especially to those who are poor and manrginalized, so the preaching of faifh becomes alive and effeetive in bringing people to ever lasting salvation, both pmpsicallu spiritually and physically.
