Abstract
Janji Perkawinan menurut Kitab Hukum Kanon 1055 adalah perjanjian untuk membentuk persekutuan (Consortium) kebersamaan hidup. Yang menurut sifat khas kodratnya terarah pada kebaikan suami istri (bonum coniugum) serta kelahiran dan pendidikan anak. Yang ini diketahui lebih dalam yakni: pemahaman pasutri Katolik tentang janji Perkawinan, memahami tantangan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga serta penghayatan pasutri katolik mengenai janji perkawinan di tengah tantangan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga. Sehingga tercapai tujuan yang ingin dicapai ialah pemahaman pasutri Katolik tentang janji Perkawinan, memahami tantangan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga serta dapat memahami penghayatan pasutri Katolik mengenai janji perkawinan ditengah tantangan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, karena metode kualitatif sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian ini. penelitian kualitatif ini merupakan prosedur penelitian yang mampu menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa ucapan, tulisan, dan perilaku dari orang-orang yang diamati berkaitan dengan “Penghayatan janji Pasutri Katolik tentang Janji perkawinan di tengah tantangan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga Paroki Salib Suci Cilincing Jakarta Utara.” Responden yang diperlukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pasutri Katolik Cilincing dengan usia pernikahan mulai 5 tahun ke atas dengan jumlah 10 responden Katolik.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh responden memiliki pemahaman yang sama dengan apa yang disajikan dalam kajian teori penghayatan janji perkawinan di tengah tantangan Ekonomi Rumah Tangga, meskipun dalam pernyataannya terdapat berbagai variasi pola jawaban dan kata kunci yang disampaikan. Para responden memahami makna dari janji perkawinan katolik yakni perkawinan pria dan wanita membentuk antara mereka kebersamaan seumur hidup. dari sifat kodratinya perjanjian itu terarah pada kesejahteraan suami-isteri serta kelahiran dan pendidikan anak.

According to the Code of Canon Law 1055, a marriage vow is an agreement to form a consortium of living together. Which, according to its characteristic nature, is directed towards the good of the husband and wife (bonum coniugum) as well as the birth and education of children. This one is known more deeply, namely: the Catholic couple's understanding of marriage vows, understanding the challenges of the household economy and the appreciation of Catholic couples regarding marriage vows in the midst of challenges to the household economy. So that the objectives to be achieved are the understanding of Catholic couples about marriage vows, understanding the challenges of the Household Economy and being able to understand the appreciation of Catholic couples regarding marriage vows amidst the challenges of the Household Economy.
This research uses qualitative methods, because qualitative methods are very suitable for the needs of this research. This qualitative research is a research procedure that is capable of producing descriptive data in the form of speech, writing, and behavior of the people observed in relation to "Catholic Couples' Commitment to Marriage Promises in the Midst of Challenges in the Household Economy at the Holy Cross Parish of Cilincing, North Jakarta." Respondents needed in this study were Cilincing Catholic couples with marriage ages from 5 years and over with a total of 10 Catholic respondents.
The result of this study is that all respondents have the same understanding as what is presented in the study of the theory of living up to marriage vows in the midst of challenges in the household economy, even though in their statements there are various variations in the pattern of answers and keywords conveyed. The respondents understood the meaning of the Catholic marriage vows, namely that the marriage of a man and a woman forms a lifetime of togetherness between them. from its natural nature, the agreement is directed towards the welfare of the husband and wife as well as the birth and education of children.
