Abstract

Angelia Aurensiana Titania Pale, ‘’Upaya Peningkatan Perhatian Siswa Pada Proses Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik Kelas IV Melalui Ice Breaking Di SDK Santa Louisa Cepu’’
Salah satu prinsip pembelajaran adalah prinsip perhatian. Prinsip perhatian cukup penting dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru terhadap siswa dengan tujuan membantu siswa untuk kembali fokus pada proses pembelajaran. SDK Santa Louisa Cepu adalah salah satu lembaga yang menerapkan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik. Selama proses pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik siswa kurang memperhatikan kegiatan pembelajaran dan cenderung sibuk sendiri. Untuk memusatkan kembali perhatian pada siswa kelas IV, maka peneliti menerapkan Ice Breaking dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan perhatian siswa kelas IV dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik dengan menerapkan Ice Breaking di SDK Santa Louisa Cepu.
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain Kemmis dan McTanggart yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian tindakan kelas yaitu siswa kelas IV SDK Santa Louisa Cepu yang berjumlah 18 siswa terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 6 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket skala perhatian siswa, lembar observasi perhatian siswa oleh guru dan soal post tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskripsi kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data Kuantitatif untuk menganalisis skala perhatian siswa, sedangkan data kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pengamatan dari lembar observasi.
Perhatian siswa kelas IV dapat ditingkatkan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik dengan materi ‘’Aku Pribadi yang Unik’’ dan ‘’Menghormati Hidup’’ berhasil ditingkatkan melalui penerapan Ice Breaking dalam siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil yang diperoleh pada Pra Siklus, siklus I dan siklus II sudah memenuhi kriteria keberhasilan yang telah diterapkan yaitu 92,23 memperoleh skor perhatian dalam kategori sangat tinggi.

One of the principles of learning is the principle of attention. The principle of attention is quite important in the learning process carried out by the teacher towards students with the aim of helping students to re-focus on the learning process. SDK Santa Louisa Cepu is one of the institutions that implements Catholic Religious Education learning. During the learning process of Catholic Religious Education students paid less attention to learning activities and tended to be busy themselves. To refocus attention on fourth grade students, the researchers applyIce Breaking in learning Catholic Religious Education. This study aims to determine the increase in the attention of fourth grade students in Catholic Religious Education subjects by applyingIce Breaking at SDK Santa Louisa Cepu.
This study uses classroom action research. The design of this study uses the Kemmis and McTanggart designs which consist of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the classroom action research were the fourth grade students at SDK Santa Louisa Cepu, totaling 18 students consisting of 12 male students and 6 female students. The data collection technique used in this study used a questionnaire on the scale of student attention, observation sheets of student attention by teachers and post-test questions. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative descriptions. Quantitative data to analyze the scale of student attention, while qualitative data to describe the results of observations from the observation sheet.
The attention of grade IV students can be increased in learning Catholic Religious Education with the material "I am a Unique Person" and "Respect for Life" successfully increased through the applicationIce Breaking in cycle I and cycle II. The results obtained in the Pre-Cycle, Cycle I and Cycle II have met the success criteria that have been applied, namely 92.23, obtaining an attention score in the very high category.
