Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas implementasi pendidikan karakter kedisiplinan di SDK Santa Maria Pare, dengan fokus pada pelaksanaan, tujuan, tantangan, dan usaha yang dilakukan. Pendidikan karakter kedisiplinan menjadi aspek penting dalam pendidikan saat ini untuk mengatasi krisis moral dan karakter di kalangan anak-anak, dan remaja. Guru memiliki peran utama dalam menumbuhkan disiplin terhadap peserta didik, dan pendidikan karakter disiplin dapat membantu dalam mengatasi berbagai permasalahan karakter, seperti bullying, kurangnya kedisiplinan serta tanggung jawab siswa.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif metode studi kasus dengan informa7 orang guru yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan 6 guru di SDK Santa Maria Pare. Dalam mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakan uji kredibilitas dengan triangulasi teknik.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter di SDK Santa Maria Pare merupakan aspek penting dalam membentuk kepribadian siswa yang disiplin. Guru memberikan contoh baik, siswa diberi pemahaman mengenai pentingnya disiplin, dan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter kedisiplinan melalui kegiatan yang terencana. Tujuan pendidikan karakter kedisiplinan di SDK Santa Maria Pare adalah membentuk karakter anak, dan meningkatkan prestasi akademik peserta didik. Namun, tantangan seperti perkembangan teknologi, anak berkebutuhan khusus, dan faktor sosial budaya dalam keluarga perlu diatasi. Dengan kolaborasi atau kerjasama dan komunikasi yang kuat, sekolah dapat mengatasi dan melaksanakan pendidikan karakter dengan efektif.

This study discusses the implementation of disciplinary character education at SDK Santa Maria Pare, with a focus on implementation, goals, challenges, and efforts made. Discipline character education is an important aspect of education today to overcome the moral and character crisis among children and adolescents. Teachers have a big role in cultivating discipline towards students, and disciplinary character education can help overcome various character problems, such as bullying, lack of discipline and student responsibility.
This study used a qualitative case study approach with information from 7 teachers consisting of the principal and 6 teachers at SDK Santa Maria Pare. In collecting data, researchers used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. To test the validity of the data used a credibility test with technical triangulation.
Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of character education at SDK Santa Maria Pare is an important aspect in shaping the personality of disciplined students. The teacher sets a good example, students are given an understanding of the importance of disciplinary character education through planned activities. The purpose of disciplinary character education at SDK Santa Maria Pare is to shape children’s character and improve students’ academic achievement. However, challenges such as technological developments, children with special needs, and sociocultural factors within the family need to be overcome. With strong collaboration or cooperation and communication, schools can handle and carry out character education effectively.
