Abstract

Para janda mempunyai permasalahan yang cukup kompleks, baik dalam hal mengurus anak, ekonomi, psikologis, seksual, sosial dan sebagainya. Menanggapi permasalahan dalam dokumen FC art. 71 Gereja harusnya mampu memberikan perhatian dan kepedulian terhadap situasi dan kondisi para janda. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat dirumuskan beberapa rumusan masalah sebagai berikut: bagaimana situasi hidup para janda di Paroki St. Vincentius a Paulo Kediri? Bagaimana pelaksanaan karya pastoral bagi para janda Paroki St. Vincentius a Paulo Kediri? Apa tantangan pastoral bagi para janda di Paroki St. Vicentius a Paulo Kediri?. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Mengetahui situasi hidup para janda di paroki St. Vincentius a Paulo Kediri; 2) mengetahui pelaksanaan karya pastoral bagi Janda di paroki St. Vincentius a Paulo Kediri; 3) mengetahui tantangan dalam melaksanakan karya pastoral bagi janda di paroki St. Vincentius a Paulo Kediri.
Demi mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara secara mendalam atau in dept interview kepada 8 responden, yang terdiri dari 7 responden janda dan 1 responden Romo sebagai pelaku pastoral. Kedelapan responden tersebut dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang karya pastoral bagi janda di Paroki St. Vincentius a Paulo Kediri dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal, yaitu: Pertama, situasi hidup para janda di paroki St. Vincentius a Paulo Kediri mempunyai berbagai problematika hidup, baik dalam hal ekonomi, psikologis, spiritual, sosial, fisik dan kejiwaan maupun dalam hal mengasuh anak. Kedua, telah terlaksana karya pastoral bagi janda di Paroki St. Vincentius a Paulo Kediri. Ketiga, tantangan dalam melaksanakan karya pastoral bagi janda adalah mendapatkan persepsi negatif dari umat.

Widows have complex problems, in terms of caring of a child, ekonomic, psychology, sexual, social and so on. Responding to this problems, in Familiaris Consortio art. 71 the Church should be able to give anttention to the situation and condition of widows. Based on this, the formulation of the problem is: What is the living situation of widows in St. Vincent de Paul parish Kediri? How is the implementation of pastoral care for widows of St. Vincent de Paul parish Kediri? What are the pastoral challenges for widows in St. Vincent de Paul parish Kediri? The objectives of this research are: 1) Knowing the life situation of widows in St. Vincent de Paul parish Kediri; 2) knowing the implementation of pastoral ministry for widows in St. Vincent de Paul parish Kediri; 3) knowing the challenges in implementing pastoral ministry for widows in St. Vincent de Paul parish Kediri.
To achieve this goal, this research uses qualitative method, with data collection through interviews with 8 respondents: 7 widows and 1 priest. The eight respondents in this research were selected using purposive sampling technigues.
This research resulted in several conclusions: 1) the life sitution of widows in St. Vincent de Paul parish Kediri has various life problems, both in terms of economic, psychology, spiritual, social, physical and mental problem as well as in termsof caring a child. 2) Pastoral ministry for widows in St. Vincent de Paul parish Kediri has been implemented. 3) The challenge in carrying out pastoral ministry for widows is getting negative perceptions from the people.
