Abstract

Kata spiritualitas berasal dari bahasa Latin ”spiritus” yang berarti “Roh atau semangat”. Jadi kata spiritualitas berkaitan dengan Roh atau semangat. Spiritualitas berhubungan dengan ruangan batin terdalam dari manusia dalam kaitan dengan Allah. Spiritualitas menjadi api, daya dorong yang membakar, membentuk dan mengarahkan manusia kepada Allah. Spiritualitas para guru SMP Keluarga Gubug adalah spiritualitas Santo Fransiskus Assisi yang sangat menekankan kasih persaudaraan, pertobatan,kemiskinan dan cinta lingkungan hidup
Tujuan dari penelitian ini (1) Mendalami hakekat spiritualitas Kristiani; (2) Mendalami hakekat spiritualitas Santo Fransiskus Assisi; (3) Menganalisis pemahaman dan penghayatan para guru terhadap spiritualitas Santo Fransiskus Assisi; (4) Menganalisis sejauhmana spiritualitas Santo Fransiskus Assisi berpengaruh terhadap hidup dan karya para guru di sekolah.
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Tempat penelitian di SMP Keluarga Gubug. Teknik pemilihan responden menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ialah wawancara. Reponden dalam penelitian ini adalah para guru SMP Keluarga Gubug. Proses analisa data penelitian dilakukan secara induktif.
Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa para responden memahami dengan cukup baik hakikat spiritualitas Kristiani dan spiritualias Santo Fransiskus Assisi. Berkaitan dengan hakikat spiritualitas Kristiani, para responden mengartikan spiritualitas Kristiani sebagai Roh yang mendorong dan menyemangati umat beriman untuk percaya kepada Yesus Kristus sebagai penyelamat. Sedangkan spiritualitas Santo Fransiskus Assisi diartikan sebagai spiritualitas Kristiani yang sangat menekankan semangat persaudaraan, cinta sesama dan lingkungan hidup. Para responden mengatakan bahwa mereka telah berusaha menghayati spiritualitas Santo Fransiskus Assisi secara konkrit dengan cara terus berusaha membangun kasih persaudaraan dengan siapa saja di sekolah.

The word spirituality comes from the Latin “spiritus” it means spirit. So the spirituality is related to spirit. Spirituality relates to the deepest inner space of human in relation to God. Spirituality becomes fire, the driving force that burns, shapes and direct humans to God. The spirituality of the teachers of SMP KeluargaGubug is the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi which is strongly emphasizes brotherly love, repentance, poverty and love for the environment.
The purpose of the researchare (1) Explore the essence of Christian spirituality;(2) Explore the essence of Saint Francis of Assisi spirituality;(3) Analyze the teachers understanding and appreciation of the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi; (4) Analyze the extent to which the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi affects the life and work of teachers in the school.
The research uses qualitative research. The research site in SMP KeluargaGubug. The respondent selection technique using purposive sampling.The research data collection techniques are interviews. Respondents in this study were the teachers of SMP KeluargaGubug. The data analysis process is done inductively.
The result of the study revealed that the respondents understood quite well the essence of Christian spirituality and the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi,Regarding the nature of Christian spirituality, the respondents interpreted Christian spirituality as a spirit that encourages the faithful to believe in Jesus Christ as their savior. While the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi of interpreted as Christian spirituality which emphasizes the spirit of brotherhood, love for each others and the environment. The respondents said that they had tried to live the spirituality of Saint Francis of Assisi concretely by continuing to try to build brotherly love with everyone at school.
