Abstract
Motivasi belajar siswa adalah salah satu hal yang berpengaruh pada kesuksesan aktifitas pembelajaran siswa Tanpa motivasi belajar siswa proses pembelajaran akan sulit mencapai kesuksesan yang optimum. Artikel ini ditujukan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian korelasi deskriptif ini dilakukan sebagai studi kasus terhadap siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama Katolik Yayasan Yohanes Gabriel Perwakilan IV Madiun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan level dari pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Terdapat total 70 siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Yayasan Yohanes Gabriel Perwakilan IV Madiun dari SMPK Harapan Slahung Ponorogo, SMPK Slamet Riyadi Ponorogo, SMPK Wijaya Widodaren, SMPK Garuda Parang Magetan, SMPK Realino Jenangan yang dijadikan sample dalam penelitian ini. Data-data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner instrument dari variabel motivasi belajar siswa dan juga hasil test korelasi data-data yang diproses melalui rata-rata statistik dan melalui penggunaan aplikasi SPSS 26. Data ini menunjukkan interprestasi tingkat reliabilitas tinggi besarnya pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa adalah sebesar 46%, sedangkan sisanya 54% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya.

Student learning motivation is one of the things that affect the success of student learning activities. Without student motivation, the learning process will be difficult to achieve optimum success. This article is intended to investigate the effect of student learning motivation on student achievement. This descriptive correlation research was conducted as a case study of the Catholic Junior High School students of the Yohanes Gabriel Foundation IV Madiun Representative. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of influence of student learning motivation on student achievement. There are a total of 70 junior high school students at the Yohanes Gabriel Foundation IV Madiun from Harapan Slahung Ponorogo Junior High School, Slamet Riyadi Junior High School Ponorogo, Wijaya Widodaren Middle School, Garuda Parang Magetan Junior High School, Realino Jenangan Junior High School which were used as samples in this study. The data were collected through a questionnaire instrument from the variables of student learning motivation and also the results of the correlation test of the data processed through statistical averages and through the use of the SPSS 26 application. is 46%, while the remaining 54% is influenced by other variables.
