Abstract
Ignatius Rio Praseno: Penerapan Model Kepemimpinan yang Melayani (Servant Leadership) Menurut Robert K. Greenleaf di Sekolah-Sekolah Katolik Kota Madiun
Model kepemimpinan yang melayani (Servant Leadership) adalah model kepemimpinan yang menampilkan pemimpin sebagai pelayan. Seorang pemimpin pelayan adalah orang yang melayani terlebih dahulu. Model ini pun sesuai dengan model kepemimpinan yang diajarkan oleh Yesus sendiri. Yesus hadir sendiri sebagai pemimpin yang melayani. Maka sudah selayaknya para pemimpin sekolah-sekolah Katolik menerapkan model kepemimpinan yang melayani dalam kepemimpinannya. Salah satu model yang dapat diterapkan adalah model kepemimpinan yang melayani menurut Robert K. Greenleaf. Masalahnya: Sejauh mana pemimpin sekolah Katolik memahami model kepemimpinan yang melayani? Bagaimana penerapan model kepemimpinan yang melayani (servant leadership) menurut Robert K. Greenleaf di sekolah-sekolah Katolik? Penelitian ini diadakan untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Responden penelitian adalah para pemimpin sekolah-sekolah Katolik Kota Madiun di bawah naungan Yayasan Yohanes Gabriel Perwakilan IV. Jumlah responden pada penelitian ini adalah 7 orang pimpinan sekolah-sekolah Katolik.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para pemimpin sekolah-sekolah Katolik telah memahami konsep dasar dan karakteristik model kepemimpinan yang melayani menurut Robert K. Greenleaf. Para pemimpin memahami model kepemimpinan yang melayani sebagai model kepemimpinan yang mampu memprioritaskan dan memenuhi kebutuhan orang lain atau lembaga tempat mereka memimpin. Model kepemimpinan yang melayani pun telah diterapkan dengan baik. Penerapan-penerapan itu diterapkan berdasarkan kesepuluh karakteristik model kepemimpinan yang melayani, yakni: mendengarkan, empati, penyembuhan, kesadaran, persuasi, konseptualisasi, pandangan ke depan, penatalayanan, komitmen untuk pertumbuhan orang, dan membangun komunitas

Ignatius Rio Praseno: Application of Servant Leadership According to Robert K. Greenleaf in Catholic Schools in Madiun City
The servant leadership model is a leadership model that presents the leader as a servant. A servant leader is one who serves first. This model is also in accordance with the leadership model taught by Jesus himself. Jesus is present himself as a servant leader. So it is appropriate for the leaders of Catholic schools to apply a servant leadership model in their leadership. One model that can be applied is the servant leadership model according to Robert K. Greenleaf. The problem: Do Catholic school leaders understand the servant leadership model? How is the application of the servant leadership model according to Robert K. Greenleaf in Catholic schools? This research was conducted to answer these problems.
This study used qualitative research methods. The research respondents were the leaders of Madiun Catholic schools under the auspices of the Yayasan Yohanes Gabriel Perwakilan IV. The number of respondents in this study were 7 leaders of Catholic schools.
The results showed that the leaders of Catholic schools had understood the basic concepts and characteristics of the servant leadership model according to Robert K. Greenleaf. The leaders understand a leadership model that serves as a leadership model that is able to prioritize and meet the needs of others or the institution in which they lead. The servant leadership model has also been implemented well. The applications were applied based on the ten characteristics of the servant leadership model: listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization, foresight, stewardship, commitment to growth of people, and building community.
