Abstract

Pastoral Sekolah adalah pengembalaan, pendampingan dan pembinaan iman umat di sekolah Katolik. Pastoral sekolah adalah salah satu media pewartaan dan pembinaan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Kristiani kepada anak-anak sejak usia dini. Dalam pendampingan dan pembinaan iman bagi umat di sekolah Katolik, pastoral sekolah memiliki berbagai kegiatan-kegiatan seperti: pelajaran agama, katekese, kegiatan liturgi (misa, ibadat), pendalaman iman, rekoleksi, retret, ziarah, kunjungan ke panti asuhan, aksi puasa, dan rekreasi bersama. Yang menjadi persoalan adalah sejauh mana Pastoral Sekolah ini dilaksanakan di SMPK-SMPK yang berada di kota Madiun? Apa dampak pastoral sekolah bagi perkembangan iman anak?
Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 21 April-5 Mei 2020. Responden penelitian adalah tim pastoral dan guru agama Katolik dari SMPK St. Yusuf dan SMPK St. Bernadus, yang terlibat aktif dalam pendampingan pastoral sekolah. Total responden 7 orang, dari SMPK St. Yusuf 4 responden dan SMPK St. Bernadus 3 responden.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, 7 responden (100%) dapat menjelaskan pengertian Pastoral Sekolah bagi perkembangan iman anak SMPK di kota Madiun bahwa pastoral sekolah adalah tempat pembinaan iman anak di lingkungan sekolah. Secara keseluruhan yaitu 7 responden (100%) mampu menjawab atau mendefimisikan pemahaman tentang perkembangan iman anak. Berkaitan dengan dampak pastoral sekolah bagi perkembangan iman anak di SMPK di kota Madiun, para responden dapat melihat adanya dampak pastoral sekolah bagi perkembangan iman anak. Data menunjukan bahwa 85.71% dari responden mampu melihat dampak pastoral sekolah bagi perkembangan iman anak, selain itu terdapat 1 responden 14,28% mengatakan bahwa pastoral sekolah kurang berdampak bagi perkembang iman anak karena masih banyak anak yang tidak mau terlibat dalam kegiatan rohani.

Pastoral School is the shepherding, mentoring and coaching of faith devotees in Catholic schools. Pastoral school is one of the media preaching and coaching to instill Christian values in children from an early age. In mentoring and fostering faith for people in Catholic schools, pastoral schools have various activities such as: religious lessons, catechism, liturgical activities (mass, worship), deepening of faith, recollections, retreats, pilgrimages, visits to orphanages, fasting, and joint recreation. The problem is the extent to which pastoral school is carried out in junior high schools located in Madiun city? What is the pastoral impact of the school on the development of the child's faith?
This research uses qualitative methods. The research was conducted on April 21-May 5, 2020. The respondents to the study were pastoral teams and Catholic teachers from St. Joseph's Junior High School and St. Bernadus Junior High School, who were actively involved in the school's pastoral mentoring. Total respondents 7 people, from St. Yusuf Junior High School 4 respondents and SMPK St. Bernadus 3 respondents.
Based on the results of the study, 7 respondents (100%) can explain the understanding of Pastoral School for the development of faith of junior high school children in madiun city that pastoral school is a place of fostering the faith of children in the school environment. Overall, 7 respondents (100%) able to answer or transmit an understanding of the development of the child's faith. Related to the pastoral impact of the school on the development of children's faith in junior high school in Madiun city, respondents can see the pastoral impact of the school for the development of the child's faith. Data shows that 85.71% of respondents were able to see the pastoral impact of the school on the development of children's faith, in addition there was 1 respondent 14.28% said that pastoral schools have less impact on the development of children's faith because there are still many children who do not want to engage in spiritual activities.
